I know this isn’t of universal interest, but we’ve recently finished working on our kitchen. When I say ‘we’, I mean that Phil Carlson did most of the work, (besides tearing up the floor, of course) while we watched.

That’s magnificent! Well, maybe not in the entire scheme of everything in the universe, but to a mom a new kitchen can be a magnificent thing. Of course, the really magnificent part is the lady who manages that kitchen 🙂

What happened to the microwave (it’s over the oven in BEFORE, but just lights in AFTER).

Good eye – We chose to not put a microwave in. The original one broke right after we moved in and we never fixed it, so we figure out that we didn’t need one.
