Since listening to “The Swiss Family Robinson” on audiobook, I have begun referring to Amanda as “The Beloved Mother.” That’s how the writer referred to his wife when he spoke to his boys. I like what it signifies. I don’t do it all the time, but I like when I do.

Sounds nice. Sometimes when I mention a guys wife to him I call her “your beloved”.
