(In agreement with Abraham)
Dads, resist the temptation to buy that bigger TV and consider not replacing your current box when it dies.
When Jesus visits your home, He'll ask for you, dads.

But, if everyone did that, whose house would you go to to watch the Vikings game?
Just sayin’! 🙂

How about your place? We sure had a great time when we watched that game in your basement. I wish we were going to watch a Viks game this weekend.

I like your advice, and I have my reasons, which might be the same as yours. What are your reasons? And do you think Abraham is really advocating what you’re saying he is?
It is very possible to live and be normal w/o a TV, and we really enjoy the freedom it gives us to waste time other places 🙂

No, I hope I didn’t give the impression that this is what Abraham’s message was. I was agreeing with his opinion (TV is like Candy) and making my own suggestion.

Thanks for the clarification. My bad for the misinterpretation.
I like your suggestion.

well stated – we moved our TV to the basement and piled stuff on it… I don’t miss it and neither do our boys 🙂
appreciate your blog.
